This summer sees the return of the Chorus's ever popular
Sunset Cruise on board PS Waverley. We will set sail
from Glasgow Science Centre on Friday 13th June 2008,
with boarding from 7pm, to return at 11pm. Tickets can be
ordered here at a cost of
£20 donation per person.
The Chorus celebrates its silver jubilee this year (2008). In addition
to our Christmas Cracker, we have three very special concerts planned,
one in the City Hall and two in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Works to performed include Bach: Mass in B Minor,
Poulenc: Gloria, Beethoven: Missa Solemnis and
Orff: Carmina Burana.

This year's Christmas Cracker featured a special guest appearance by the young Scottish tenor Nicky Spence, accompanied by the Orchestra of Scottish Opera. The concert took place on 23rd December in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall: here we are putting in some practice (courtesy of the Evening Times):
